Privacy Policy

Placeholder — final wording will be provided by Orçagora. Last updated: —

1. Who we are

Orçagora is a subscription tool that helps small businesses create and send quotes. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: the email address you use to sign up and authenticate.
  • Business data you enter: your company profile (name, NIF, IBAN, address, logo, default settings), your clients (names, contact details, NIF, address), your service and material catalogs, and the quotes you create.
  • Billing data: subscription status and identifiers needed to process payments. Card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and never stored by Orçagora.
  • Basic technical data: a device fingerprint and IP address at signup, used only to prevent abuse of the free-credit allowance.

3. How we use your data

We use your data only to operate the Service: to authenticate you, to generate and deliver the quotes you create, to bill your subscription, and to prevent abuse. We do not use your clients' data for marketing.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data or your clients' data to third parties. We share data only with the service providers strictly needed to run Orçagora (hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing) under confidentiality obligations.

5. Retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account from Settings, your business profile, clients, catalogs and quotes are permanently deleted. Limited records required by law (for example billing records) may be retained for the period required by applicable regulations.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data at any time from within the app. Under the GDPR you also have the right to object to processing, request portability, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD).

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

8. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Portugal and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
